One of the reasons that I am interested in Blockchain is the potential to increase female financial inclusion in the world. Blockchain will open up opportunities for more buyers and sellers, many of whom will be women. Blockchain will provide opportunities for women throughout the world to engage in business and increase female financial empowerment.

Blockchain has the potential to be as big a jump forward as the transition from the barter system to currency. Programmability is what makes blockchain truly transformational. Programmable blockchain will open the door for new business activity that wants to exist but can't under the current system and will enable new forms of business that humans haven't even thought of yet.

Many businesses in the future will be conducted directly peer to peer via smart contracts. Smart contracts will let us re-engineer and streamline business practices that have been around for centuries. Many types of transactions will become much more efficient, and in some cases will go from being impossible to being easy.

"Men and women who are involved in blockchain now are defining the way the economy of the future will operate. Efforts to use blockchain to increase financial inclusion have already begun."

What’s new and incredible is that we will be able to actually transact business in real time as dictated by the terms of smart contracts. Men and women who are involved in blockchain now are defining the way the economy of the future will operate. Efforts to use blockchain to increase financial inclusion have already begun. The new inclusive economy may come to dwarf the size of the legacy economy. The scale of the opportunity and the potential to improve the lives of women in our generation and in future generations is staggering.
