In today’s crypto news, Ukraine sold out 1282 NFTs on the first day of its sale for a total of 190 Ether (ETH) which is equal to $650k at the time of writing. Bank of Japan calls on the G7 nations to adopt common crypto regulations

According to reports, the Bank of Japan has called upon the G7 nations to have a common regulatory framework around crypto-assets. The official asked the nations that this must be achieved as soon as possible. G7 is a group of 7 nations that constitute Canada, Italy, Germany, Japan, The United Kingdom, the United States, and France. This statement was taken as a response as the Russia-Ukraine crisis continues to build up putting crypto-assets and their potential applications under increasing scrutiny.

The sale progress was tweeted by the Ukrainian MetaHistory NFT-Museum throughout the day and the last public tally was announced at 1153 NFTs. According to reports, the country even made an announcement that it shall give away an NFT for free for hitting half a million mark.

Ledger partners with Sandbox to promote crypto education in Metaverse 

The cryptocurrency hardware wallet Ledger has partnered with the blockchain gaming platform Sandbox to promote education around crypto in the metaverse. The Chief Experience Officer at Ledger announced this news at the Non-Fungible Conference on Monday. This partnership is aimed at bringing security into the world of Sandbox and shall serve as a place for Ledger to educate people on crypto.
