Cardano (ADA) among latest crypto assets to consider burning mechanism
A new initiative was undertaken by the Cardano team to update about its development every week showing that two teams are working on the development of a token burning mechanism. According to the report, one of the teams is working on finalizing a new transaction workflow that shall add token minting and burning capabilities. Another team is also considering token minting as well as burning within the Hydra Head as well as scenarios where it shall be using tokens rather than datums.
It appears that the company is pursuing this mechanism aggressively as two teams are working on it simultaneously. This mechanism will make the assets deflationary as it shall permanently remove a certain amount of tokens from circulation.

Fantom Network growing at a fast pace with the rise of active addresses and Smart contracts
The Fantom network is growing at an unprecedented pace as claimed by the Fantom Foundation. Despite the exit of certain eminent names from the DeFi space, the network has its objective intact. Data from the FTM scan reveals that 364874 unique addresses have joined the network last month. The impressive growth of 77.69% has been achieved by the network since the previous year.
Earlier at the beginning of the month, a sense of fear developed among the Fantom community members as Andre Cronje, Godfather of DeFi, and senior solutions Architect, Anton Nell decided to leave the DeFi space. Their departure was thought to be a blow to the DeFi projects such as Fantom. However, the project continues to soar. Do you also have Fantom in your portfolio?
