In today’s crypto news, Crypto music app Audius has bridged AUDIO tokens from Ethereum to Solana to scale the increasing demand from its users. 

Twitter after allowing its subscription service users to put non-fungible tokens as profile pictures are now allowing its mobile users to use Ethereum addresses as a mobile tipping option. This update came on Wednesday. 

Chainlink was working on its verifiable Random function V2 for quite a few months and the function was finally taken live on its mainnet on Wednesday. This will reduce the transaction fee to 60% and will also add another sense of security and fairness. More on this crypto news is below.

Crypto Music app Audius bridges AUDIO token from Ethereum to Solana 

Audius is all decked up to push more into the Solana ecosystem with new reward opportunities, wrapped AUDIO tokens, and more. It has launched a wrapped Solana version of its Ethereum AUDIO token. 

Audius is a music streaming service that was originally built on the Ethereum blockchain but has gradually embraced the technologies Solana has to offer in order to scale its increasing demands. The latest move towards the same is bridging its Ethereum based AUDIO token to Solana.

Twitter allows users to add Ethereum addresses as a mobile tipping option

The Mobile users of Twitter can now add Ethereum addresses to the options available for would-be tippers. This update was announced on Wednesday. This announcement followed after officially rolling out bitcoin tips through the lightning network on mobile. 

This new feature also marks Twitter’s new connection with crypto assets and NFTs. Last month Twitter even allowed the users of its subscription service, Blue, to use NFT profile pictures.

Chainlink verifiable Random Function V2 goes live on Mainnet 

The blockchain oracle solution, Chainlink announced the release of its verifiable random function, or VRF, V2 on Wednesday. According to its developers, the new improvised version of this random number generator can substantially reduce the transaction fees by as much as 60% compared to its previous version. 

Randomness plays as a major role in making non-fungible tokens or NFTs as well as other gaming applications more secured and fair. Blockchains and smart contracts cannot guarantee randomness on their own and requires a oracle network to deliver such solutions on-chain.
